Leveraging an innovative non-chemical alternative for pesticides known as PhylloLux, our robot platform can be used as a replacement for pesticides. PhylloLux, developed by leading researchers from at USDA Appalachian Fruit Research Station, uses UV-C light to treat plants and is equally effective as pesticides for treating gray mold, powdery mildew, and two spotted spider mites.
